I think r2 is fantastic, very few weaknesses in terms of balance and gameplay but i can point out a few things i would like to see.

Firstly, REMOVE THE CAPS! seriously, its horrible, its more then horrible, it downgrades the style of the mod, makes in-game discussions look like we are all angry when we are not! Buddies

Lower damage on hand-cannon and musketoon. (Carpenter)

Rearly, its the most powerfull kit by far, i would prefer the radius of the damage to be large and not the actual damage as a "splash" class it should be doing less damage then the other classes and not more.

Acuracy and damage reduced on sniper-musket (Sharpshooter)

This weapon is more deadly then most short-range weapons in short range and is the more acurate gun in the game by far - not very 17-18th century atall, its more acurate and deadly then most world war II era snipers!

But dont reduce them alot, just a little.

Maps!

Storm the bastion needs the zipline back, the map was pretty much halfed when it was taken away, could also do with a little more emphasis on defending the beach from the beach-overlook point next to the church so we get a little amphibious landing under fire situation going on rather then having to sail to the beach, run though the graveyard, into the church, up the hill and then blow the fort gate before you can evan fet a shot off!

The map itself has 5 or 6 great little "engagement points", The town, lighthouse, fort, lighthouse, beach-graveyard and bridge but most of the fighting is usualy done at the fort gate .. which is a shame considering the scale of the map!

I came up with a bit of a solution for this..

although the bastion is the centrepoint with half the capturable map points, i think more emphasis should be made on the battles leading up to the beggining of the siege (holding the beach, town, lighthouse etc).

I would complain that the naval maps are slow, too big and that biergliders are almost impossible to shoot down, evan with parrots but these where new features in r2 and i suspect they have already been resolved. (the best way around this is either decreasing map sizes on some of the big naval maps and making the gliders a little slower, but not needing as much thrust (as they are gliders).

Also worth noting gliders are too easy to "taxi" in, and ruin maps like Oh-me-heaty beach and the one with the "hotel california" as people just fly in and swoop out.

Assault Mode!

I am not sure if this is in development or not, but basicly giving an objective on storm the bastion or oh me heaty beach such as "destory the rum in the enamy base" - to win the round (with 3 rounds to win).

A time limet to destory the objective ofcource (5-10 minutes).

Thanks for reading guys, i play alot more then i should so i hope you respect my opinion half as much as you respect my shooting! Innocent

Thanks for reading,

I saw some of those shots of the new models and maps, all looking fantastic, the Armada battles should bring the fun back into sea battles!

I think the Sharp shooter musket is perfect and the musketoon is perfect and I think the hand cannon needs to be more powerful if you hit someone right under thier feet it doesnt kill them.
