Ok we have went over everything we can find to find the Armada Mode.
We us bf2cc and all we get is coop (which will not load at all) Cq, rally and tactical...
So where is the Armada mode at?
found sailors warning map that looks like it may be armada but listed as cq
we are having a blast with this and would really like to try it out
been playing ctf and zombie in the same rotation and it seems to work just fine except we had to remove the time limit... _________________

Armada mode didn't quite make it - the gamemode is largely done we just had problems with making it clear when you were capping a flag.
Perhaps we can relook at it - if theres an active group that would like to try it out maybe they could be our guinea pig. Everyone playing (and the server of course) would need a new map but otherwise the build would remain the same.
Tactical was a CS style gamemode where you don't respawn and have to place a bomb or stop it from being placed/detonated. _________________

Well now if you want an active group that plays this mod,
you have stumbled on one as we play every chance we get as you can see by our stats
the BF2 Alliance Team
As for a new map, maybe someone from the mapping contest may have one we could use...
We usually have bewtween 4 to 20 players on average when we get it going...
Dang server likes to crash but they usually come right back
Let us know what to do as we really like this mod and would like to see it continure to grow
Most of us get on around GMT -5 which is around 8pm EST we understand that this is rather late for most here, but I am on the net from early am EST till the wee hours of the night EST
The best way to get ahold of us is either by xfire or Teamspeak !P:207.210.252.11:8769, no password so be sure to let us know who you are ASAP as we do get a lot of pranksters come in and they do get the boot rather quickly
Also if you click the below image and go view players you will see we have quite a following, the players stats were reset when we started playing this mod a few weeks ago and already we have quite a few visiting the server daily

Actually we have a map - as you suspect its a different version of the sailors warning one - just need to give it to you.
Let me check with 1/2hawk, its his map. I suggest adding you (and any other of your group that want to, or you can collate feedback for us) to the beta group - just so that we can get feedback from your groups experience. _________________

About that Armada map - its already hard enough to tell where the capping radius is on a bright sunny map, Sailors Warning is just too dark and too small. Might be good to try on Rhino's map submission instead? I dont remember where we got with the python - doing a map conversion is fairly easy though. _________________

I believe that we got it all working except that the notification of being inside a capping radius and the amount of 'capping' wasnt finalised. We tried a number of models etc but didnt fix on anything - maybe indeed because of the sky/fog.
Just so that non devs know, we cant use the default bf2 capping notification/icons etc with random flag locations. damn bf2 engine. _________________
