LAND HO! Previews of all 16 map

From the crow's nest of me trusty Brig, I've recently spied some 16 fantastic locales to set port in. With Release 2 now on the horizon, grab yer spyglass and give these previews a gander over on YouTube. Be sure to leave some feedback!

The video contains fly-bys of each map, new footage of the beer glider, the hot air balloon and the new Cannonere class who carries dual french pistols and a deployable field cannon! The full article contains the minimaps for the 64 man Conquest versions of each map and a brief description, in the order they appear in the video for those to care to follow along.

Well... you guys asked for more maps so this pack should keep y'all busy for quite awhile. Smile

Not too sure how well the aircraft will go over with the community so those are only going on 3-4 maps for now... no worries. Im personally most excited to get a lot of folks on Pressgang Port - I think it will be pretty popular but you never know. We've obviously gone back and looked at old BF42 and BFP1 maps for inspiration, sexied up the R1 maps, threw in a few open water naval combat maps and explored other brand new concepts as well. Should be a little somethin somethin for everybody.

I've done some more things to fix my problems with Punkbuster and this will give me a good reason to install Battlefield 2 again. Unfortunately I won't be around during the release.

I love the dual french pistol, thats going to be very very deadly deadly..

Also being able to deploy a cannon anywhere will be alot of fun - probably going to become my favourite class!

Lookin pretty feckin amazing,

the planes & balloons look like they could devastate whole bases with the bombs. Will they be on the new naval maps too?

Double pistol + portable cannon FTW, this looks great Smile

Once you place the cannon, can it move about? In the vid the wheels were moving, but im not sure if this was just it turning side to side.

Good to see another set piece map, O Me Heatys Beach, looks like a bonus. No machine gun nests, but im betting plenty of CANNON nests instead (which is worse?)

Can we have it now? Guns Blazing
